Beyond just keeping track of your spending, it's important to have budgets to ensure that you don't overspend. More importantly, it also let's you know when you have sufficient leftover to spend more 😏

Here is what’s new in this latest update:

🕵️‍♀️ Dig into your spending history

Ever look at your total spending and think, "Wait, where did that actually go?" Now, when you click on any of your total metrics, you’ll see a full historical view of every transaction that makes up that number. It’s the easiest way to spot trends or find that one subscription you forgot to cancel.

⚖️ Budgets that actually fit your life

One-size-fits-all budgets don’t work because life is messy. You can now set custom thresholds with minimums and maximums for your categories.

  • Want to make sure you’re saving at least $500? Set a minimum.

  • Need to keep your takeout habit under $100? Set a maximum.

It’s your money; we’re just here to help you keep it between the lines.

Most apps only let you set an upper limit for a budget, Cashcaded lets you set a minimum so you never underspend for the categories that matter the most to you (like shopping 😅)

🍎 Apple Pay setup made easy

Transaction automation is a game-changer, but we know setting it up can be a bit of a headache. We’ve completely revamped our Apple Pay automation instructions with clear video demos that walk you through the process step-by-step. You’ll be up and running in minutes, not an afternoon.

Offline intelligence with autofills

I know how tedious it can be to hunt through your camera roll just to find a receipt or a photo of your latest splurge. Today, your expense tracking a whole lot faster (and a bit more magical) by letting the app do the heavy lifting for you.

Here’s what’s new in this update:

  • Automatic Image Search: When you type in a purchase title, Cashcaded will now automatically scan your gallery to find the matching photo for you. No more endless scrolling!

  • Smart Tagging: Forget manual categorization. Once a photo is attached, the right tags will automatically be selected based on what’s in the image.

  • Privacy-First Intelligence: Your data stays yours. All image scanning and recognition are processed entirely on-device. That means everything happens privately offline, and your photos never leave your phone.

To get started, simply download the local AI models within the app settings to unlock this offline intelligence. Once they're installed, you're ready to go!
